特征特性：G-杆菌，无动力，发酵糖产酸不产气，赖氨酸脱羧酶、鸟氨酸脱羧酶、精氨酸双水解酶阴性，吲哚、尿素酶、苯丙氨酸脱氨酶、服-泼二氏实验阴性，发酵甘露醇，不发酵水杨苷、肌醇、侧金盏花醇，葡铵实验阴性。兼性厌氧，最适pH7.4~7.6。福氏志贺氏菌F1a血清型。
参考用途：研究、质量控制，《GB 4789.5-2012志贺氏菌检验》阳性对照菌株。

培养基：0002 营养肉汤琼脂（Nutrient Agar）
蛋白胨 5.0 g 牛肉浸粉 3.0 g NaCl 5.0 g 琼脂 15.0 g 蒸馏水 1000.0 mL pH 7.0
培养芽胞杆菌时加入5 mg MnSO4·H2O，则有利于产生芽胞。以上成分121℃，灭菌15 min。液体培养基不添加琼脂。推荐使用成品培养基。培养温度：36 ℃
