  Resazurin (0.1% w/v)           0.5ml

  D-Glucose                            2g

  Distilled water                     1000ml

  Dissolve dehydrated TSB medium and resazurin, bring to the boil and cool to room temperature while sparging with 100% N2 gas. Adjust pH to 5.5, dispense under same gas atmosphere into anoxic Hungate-type tubes or serum vials and autoclave. Add glucose from a separately sterilized anoxic stock solution.

  For DSM 12992: Adjust pH of complete medium to 6.5
